Seed Coaching Program

Building a coaching culture,
for stronger, higher-performing teams

Why This Program Exists
Coaching is sometimes misunderstood and underutilized. We're not sure how to think about it, when to seek it, and may even resist it, assuming it implies a shortcoming. We often fail to realize that coaching is a strategic investment in valued individuals, frequently leading to accelerated growth in performance and professional development, and that the outcomes and new approaches that come through coaching are often unexpected.

Coaching is difficult to describe; it is best experienced to create an accurate understanding.

Why I’m Purposeful About It
My own path to coaching highlights how significant the disconnect can be, and my experience working with clients has made me a sincere believer in coaching. When coaching culture takes root in teams, the ripple effects are powerful, within the workplace and beyond it. Directly put, a world with more coaching is a better world. â€‹

What the Program Is
A few times a year, I offer 1–2 pro bono coaching sessions to curious leaders or team members. We start with a straightforward question: “What’s something you’d like to see change or improve?” From there, we dive into coaching, clarity grows, questions get answered, and the purpose of the program comes to life. Sessions are subject to availability and may happen via Zoom, phone, or in person.

What to Expect From Me
My genuine motivation is to raise the tide of coaching. I do this to help people understand what coaching is and isn’t, the various forms coaching may take, and how to find a coach who’s the right fit. (Fit is everything!) I aim to be a resource, and as board president of ICF New England, I’m deeply connected to the regional coaching community, which leaves me well positioned to help people find their right coaching fit.
